Walk Away

Primary Muscles: buttocks, abdominals

This exercise is the basis for getting into position for other exercises such as the chest press, which uses the ball as a bench press.

  • Sit on the ball in a neutral spine position
  • While slowly walking your feet away, scoop your chin and scoop your stomach until your shoulders are resting on it
  • Keep in neutral spine position, neck and head straight. Reverse the movement pushing your back into the ball to return to the seated neutral position
